Skylla Mumana is a journalist and photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Whether its through a lens or a pen, her work aims to resonate.

Mumana is driven by curiosity, a commitment to nuance, and a deep interest in the people and systems that shape our world. She's reported on food, arts and culture and music, but welcomes opportunities to cover a variety of topics.

Mumana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Baylor University, and she is currently pursuing her master's in Narrative Writing at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.
